Guide to Scheduling and running Meetings

If you work at a company, then meetings are a necessary evil. There is always someone who needs help, an explanation, or a show of power.

No meetings less than 25 minutes

Your meeting should be at a minium 25 minutes. Meetings less than 25 minutes need to be an email or Teams message. Only 25 minutes because you need to allow time for your captives to arrive to their next meeting after refilling their coffee and emptying their bladders.

No meeting more than an hour

If your meeting is scheduled for over an hour then you need 2 meetings. Cap your meeting at 50 minutes, again for the

24-hour notice

No ad-hoc meetings or scheduling an afternoon meeting in the morning

Have an agenda

Topics are important. You need to allow prep time for what's coming to contribute to the meeting
